Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa announced that cloud seeding, a method to create rain, is planned for Delhi today if the weather improves in Kanpur. An aircraft is ready to take off from Kanpur once visibility there reaches 5,000 meters, as it’s currently only 2,000 meters. Delhi also has low visibility. If conditions allow, the plane will take off around 12:30-1:00 pm, perform cloud seeding in Delhi to cause rainfall, and return.
