An exclusive Reuters investigation has uncovered evidence of Chinese drone experts working directly with Russia’s sanctioned weapons manufacturer, IEMZ Kupol.
Documents and European security officials reveal that Chinese specialists traveled repeatedly to Russia, conducting drone tests, assembling aircraft, and training Russian staff.
The Russian company has also reportedly received shipments of Chinese-made attack and surveillance drones via a sanctioned Russian intermediary.
The findings point to deepening cooperation between Russian arms makers and Chinese companies, despite Beijing’s denial of providing lethal aid.
