At least eleven security personnel were injured in Chhattisgarh after six improvised explosive devices (IEDs) detonated during an anti-Maoist operation near the Karegutta Hills. The blasts targeted the District Reserve Guard (DRG) and CoBRA units operating along the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border. Security forces were airlifted to hospitals and are responding to the threat. Authorities say the IED attacks were aimed at spreading fear ahead of Republic Day celebrations.
