Chhattisgarh: 30 Naxals Killed in Encounters, Amit Shah Vows to End Red Terror by 2026

Union Home Minister Amit Shah praised the recent operations in Chhattisgarh, where security forces killed 30 Naxals in two encounters—26 in Bijapur and 4 in Kanker. Large caches of arms and ammunition were recovered. Shah reaffirmed his commitment to eradicating Red Terror by March 31, 2026. The government continues to follow a multi-pronged strategy, combining development initiatives, a surrender policy, and strict action against those refusing to lay down arms.
