The investigation also suggests potential involvement in anti-national activities, with suspected links to madrasas near the Nepal border allegedly used for conversions. According to sources, the probe has revealed the gang received significant funding, with one report stating, "the ATS investigation has revealed that the Chhangaur gang received funding exceeding Rs 100 crore." Authorities have indicated that more properties belonging to the gang are expected to be seized as the investigation proceeds.
