Cheteshwar Pujara First Interview Post Retirement: 'Proud Moment For Me & Family' | Exclusive

Cheteshwar Pujara revealed that he had thought about retirement for just about a week before making the call on Sunday, August 24. Pujara, who scored 7,195 runs at an average of 43.60, registering 19 centuries and 35 half-centuries in 103 Tests, called time on his international career. Since then, the batter has been playing domestic cricket and scored 402 runs in seven matches for Saurashtra last season in the Ranji trophy. Speaking to Aaj Tak, India Today’s sister channel, Pujara said that he didn’t think about it earlier and made the decision recently.
