When a girl learns, everything changes. This belief drives Project Nanhi Kali – an initiative founded by Anand Mahindra in 1996 and managed by the K.C. Mahindra Education Trust and Naandi Foundation since 2005.
What began as a simple mission to educate girls from underserved communities has grown into a nationwide movement – reaching nearly a million girls across 15 states. Here, girls don’t just attend school. They gain life skills, learn digital and financial literacy, participate in sports leadership skills training, and grow into confident young women ready to shape their future.
Behind every Nanhi Kali is a team of women mentors and community changemakers who ensure every girl gets the support she needs – in classrooms, on the sports field, and in life.
