Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reiterated that a ceasefire and prisoner exchange remain top priorities ahead of this week’s peace talks with Russia, set to take place in Turkey. These are the first negotiations in over 7 weeks, following a war that has dragged on for more than three and a half years since Russia’s invasion in 2022.
Zelenskyy also said Ukraine and its partners are working to organize a global peace summit and ensure the return of civilians and children detained by Russia.
