Speaking after visiting the IPS officer’s family, Rahul Gandhi stated, ‘Desh Mein karodon Dalit bhaai bahan hai. Unko galat message JA raha hai Ki AAP kitne bhee successful ho kitne bhee intelligent ho kitne bhee capable ho Agar AAP Dalit ho aapko dabaya JA sakta hai aur yeh hamaare liye acceptable nahi hai’. The case has become a political flashpoint, with leaders like Chirag Paswan also meeting the grieving family and the Nayab Singh Saini government sending DGP Shatrujeet Kapur on leave.
