In 2016, NASA launched the OSIRIS-REx mission to collect a sample from asteroid Bennu — a journey that took 4 years just to arrive. After nearly 2 years of mapping, the spacecraft performed a daring "Touch-and-Go" maneuver, grabbing a sample in just 5 seconds! Using a puff of nitrogen, it collected at least 60 grams of ancient material. This asteroid dust could reveal secrets about the origins of life on Earth. The sample is expected to return to Earth in 2023 — a cosmic time capsule billions of years old!
