Buoyed by Yettinahole success, Karnataka to tap into more streams

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced expanding the Yettinahole project to provide drinking water to seven districts in Karnataka. Inaugurating Phase-1, which covers 35km of a planned 265km canal, he addressed concerns about water availability and assured completion despite obstacles. Deputy CM DK Shivakumar highlighted efforts to overcome hurdles and secure land acquisition.
