BRS MLC K Kavitha has been suspended from the party. The move follows her allegations of a conspiracy against her father, KCR, and claims of corruption involving senior party leaders like Harish Rao in the Kaleshwaram case. Kavitha stated that leaders around KCR were responsible for tarnishing his image. Reacting to the suspension, Congress MP Anil Kumar Yadav described the situation as a result of internal conflict within the BRS. He said, "It seems like there is a lot of infighting going on in BRS party. It’s a fight for the top chair, the fight for the party president post." He identified KTR, Harish Rao, and Santosh Rao as serious contenders for the party’s top position, suggesting the suspension is linked to this internal power struggle.
