In a significant development, local authorities in Yemen have postponed the execution of Indian national Nimisha Priya, which was scheduled for July 16, 2025, sources said on Tuesday. According to sources, the Government of India had stepped up diplomatic efforts in recent days to seek additional time for Priya’s family to reach a mutually agreeable resolution with the victim’s kin.
