Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has convened a high-level meeting of an informal group of ministers at Kartavya Bhawan to discuss the evolving situation in the West Asia war. The meeting follows the announcement of a ceasefire after 40 days of conflict. India is currently assessing its next steps in response to these regional developments. Alongside the ministerial deliberations, the Indian government has issued a fresh advisory for Indian citizens currently in Iran, urging them to stay safe or return to India. The bulletin also touched upon developments from the Petroleum Ministry regarding the supply of commercial LPG cylinders amidst the changing geopolitical landscape. The primary focus remains on India’s strategic response to the West Asia crisis and the safety of its nationals abroad.
