Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of India and veteran Congress leader, has passed away. Born in 1932, he served as PM from 2004 to 2014. An economist, he was Finance Minister during India’s economic reforms in 1991. Singh was instrumental in the India-US civil nuclear deal of 2005.
