BREAKING LIVE: Bengaluru-Bound Volvo Bus Catches Fire In Kurbool, More Than 30 Passengers Onboard
A horrific blaze engulfed a passenger bus late Thursday evening close to Chinna Tekur in Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh, resulting in numerous fatalities and injuries. Reports indicate that more than 20 individuals may have perished in the blaze, though authorities have yet to issue an official tally.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu voiced profound sorrow over the mishap, pledging comprehensive aid from state agencies to those impacted."Deeply saddened by the horrific bus blaze close to Chinna Tekur in Kurnool district. My thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families who have suffered such an irreplaceable loss. The administration stands ready to provide every form of help to the wounded and their loved ones," Naidu shared in a public statement.
In a similar vein, ex-Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy conveyed his deep distress, pressing for swift governmental intervention to aid the survivors."This heartbreaking bus inferno near Chinna Tekur in the Kurnool district fills me with sorrow. My sincere sympathies to the bereaved families enduring this immense pain. I call on the authorities to deliver immediate relief, healthcare, and resources to the hurt and all those touched by this calamity," Reddy posted on X.
