Several areas in Jammu, as well as parts of Rajasthan and Punjab, came under drone and missile attacks from Pakistan on Thursday, marking a significant escalation just a day after India attacked terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.
India successfully foiled these attacks, shooting down a Pakistani F-16 fighter jet and possibly two JF-17 jets, along with intercepting other projectiles, while a drone hit Jammu Civil Airport. Drones were intercepted and explosions were also reported in Pathankot and Jaisalmer.
