Breaking: Donald Trump Says 'Not Happy With Mojtaba' As Iran Names Khamenei's Son As Supreme Leader

Iran’s Foreign Minister has strongly rejected any foreign interference in the selection of the country’s new supreme leader, dismissing US President Donald Trump’s expressed interest in the process. The minister stated that ‘we allow nobody to interfere in our domestic affairs’ and emphasised that ‘this is up to the Iranian people to elect a new leader’. Iran has selected Mojtaba Khamenei, the second son of Ali Khamenei who was killed in a US-Israel strike, as its new supreme leader. President Trump has publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with the selection of Mojtaba. The Iranian Foreign Minister reiterated that the selection of Iran’s supreme leader ‘is only the business of the Iranian people and nobody else’s business’, firmly rejecting Trump’s earlier suggestion of having a say in choosing Iran’s next leader.
