BREAKING: Biden’s US Government Meets Congress President Kharge
Joe Biden’s American Government representative has met Congress President Kharge in New Delhi. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Kharge posted a picture with the US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti.
The Congress top level meeting with a top member of the US Government will raise eyebrows given that it comes amidst a series of engagements between opposition leaders and members of the United States political establishment. Moreover, these meetings come on the heels of the US Election 2024 which is being battled out between Kamala Harris, from the Democrats, and Donald Trump, from the Republicans.
Rahul Gandhi’s Congress Chief also said that apart from Garcetti, the Minister Counselor of Political Affairs Graham Mayer was part of the meeting and Chief of Staff Lisa Brown was also present.
The Americans have been meeting several leaders of the Indian political opposition, including AIMIM’s Owaisi in Hyderabad.
