AIADMK announces seat-sharing arrangements for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections at its headquarters. The party has allotted 27 constituencies to the Bharatiya Janata Party, 18 seats to Pattali Makkal Katchi, and 11 seats to Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam. AIADMK leaders state that negotiations with several other alliance partners are ongoing and will be finalised by tonight. The party describes the National Democratic Alliance as a strong coalition that will contest and win in 210 out of 214 assembly constituencies. Senior BJP leaders including Piyush Goyal arrived in Chennai for discussions. AIADMK chief Edappadi Palaniswami and other leaders are present at the party headquarters as the NDA finalises its electoral strategy for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
