Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has announced the successful combat firing of the indigenously developed Multi-Influence Ground Mine (MIGM) by the DRDO and Indian Navy. The MIGM can detect acoustic, electric, and magnetic signatures of enemy vessels, enhancing India’s undersea warfare capabilities. This test follows the recent deployment of a helium-filled balloon at 55,000 feet altitude for surveillance, demonstrating India’s advancements in both aerial and undersea defense technologies.
