Over 40 schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails, demanding a $30,000 ransom. The threats turned out to be hoax calls after police checks. Schools were shut and emergency services deployed as per protocol. No suspicious items were found. Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal criticised the Centre over the deteriorating law and order situation in the capital. Investigators are probing the IP addresses of the threat mails.
