The body of legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle, who died on Sunday (April 12), was brought to her residence in Mumbai from Breach Candy hospital.
Asha Bhosle, known for her versatile repertoire and high-energy music in countless Bollywood movies, died at the age of 92, drawing widespread tributes.
Calling her one of a kind, Indian singer Usha Uthup said Asha Bhosle’s passing marked the end of an era, adding that she felt deeply fortunate and grateful to have had the opportunity to spend time with her.
Famous for generations across India, Bhosle gained international attention through her collaborations with British musician Boy George.
