The BMC election voting day has been fixed for Thursday, January 15. Polling stations will open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm for all 227 wards in Greater Mumbai. A public holiday has been declared in municipal areas to encourage voter turnout.
Voters will go to the polls in a single phase. Counting of votes will begin at 10 am on Friday, January 16, and results are expected by the end of the day.
