Blind Lego enthusiast Matthew Shifrin turned his childhood love for building into a movement for accessibility. After receiving braille instructions at age 13, he was inspired to create Bricks for the Blind in 2023, offering free braille and tactile Lego guides. Today, Matthew and his team provide instructions for over 540 Lego sets, allowing blind children and adults to build independently and experience creativity, connection, and freedom. His work has even inspired Lego to produce audio and braille instructions, making the joy of building accessible to everyone.
