He criticized the Indian Union Muslim League and CPM for their alliance with Jamaat-e-Islami, arguing that such partnerships mainstream radical elements into Kerala’s political landscape. Addressing economic concerns, he highlighted high unemployment and inflation rates, attributing these issues to decades of governance by the Congress and CPM. Chandrasekhar defended the constitutional right to produce films like The Kerala Story under Article 19 and accused Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of fiscal irresponsibility regarding Wayanad landslide relief. He further rejected claims of central budget neglect, citing increased untied grants and infrastructure projects. The BJP leader contrasted the NDA’s development-focused vision with the controversy-driven politics of the opposition while addressing the Sabarimala issue.
