While the Trinamool Congress is yet to issue a formal response, party sources have termed the allegations a ‘political stunt.’ With the 2026 elections approaching, and as the Chief Minister prepares to visit the affected areas, the significant question being raised is, ‘Could this have been avoided this time around?’
