The event comes just a day after a Delhi court framed corruption, criminal conspiracy, and cheating charges against Lalu Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi, and son Tejashwi Yadav for allegedly manipulating tenders during Lalu’s tenure as Railway Minister. Prasad accused the Yadav family of "looting Bihar’s poor" through rigged hotel contracts in Ranchi and Puri, awarded to a firm linked to their associates in exchange for undervalued land transfers worth crores. He highlighted the CBI’s findings of a quid pro quo deal causing massive losses to the exchequer, slamming Lalu’s "dynastic corruption" as a betrayal of public trust. Prasad also mocked the RJD’s defense, calling it "political vendetta claims," and urged Bihar voters to reject the family ahead of the upcoming assembly polls. The PC underscored BJP’s commitment to "zero tolerance for graft," drawing parallels to past railway scams under Lalu’s watch.
