The BJP and local parties are in the driving seat across the eight northeastern states of India in the Lok Sabha elections, the India Today-Axis My India exit poll results showed on Saturday.
The eight northeastern states, which include– Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Tripura, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, and Assam– have a tally of 27 seats in the Lok Sabha.
The India Today-Axis My India exit poll is based on 5.8 lakh interviews conducted in all 543 parliamentary constituencies
