A BJP leader, Manmohan President Jawahar, was shot dead in Sonipat, Haryana, over a land dispute with his neighbour. The accused, Jawahar’s uncle Manmohan, has been arrested. The murder was captured on CCTV. The weapon used was a local handmade firearm, with two fatal gunshots fired. The dispute involved a land purchase agreement and a sum of five lakh rupees.
