He called her a valuable asset to Karnataka and India, saying she has made Bengaluru famous through Biocon, and the city has supported her in return. Patil noted that issues like potholes and heavy rainfall have been addressed with thousands of crores invested, and work is ongoing. He criticized her for tweeting about the issue again, saying it was not in good taste.
