While Gates was already in India and had recently met with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, his name has now been struck off the summit’s website. A spokesperson for the Gates Foundation later clarified that while he may not participate in panel discussions or Q&A sessions, he is still scheduled to deliver a keynote address. The controversy follows a global backlash regarding the Epstein documents, leading to professional and personal repercussions for several high-profile figures.
