This follows an extensive purification of the voter list, which now includes approximately 7.42 crore voters. Key reforms include home voting facilities for the elderly and disabled, mobile phone deposit counters outside polling stations, and 100% webcasting at all booths. The Commission stressed its commitment to a fair and peaceful process, issuing a strict directive for "Zero tolerance to any violence. No scope for any kind of intimidation or threat to voters or candidates."
