Visuals show his vehicle being smashed with stones and bricks by angry villagers, who were reportedly furious over the non-construction of a local road they had been demanding for years. Kumar and some of his supporters sustained minor injuries in the assault. Police later swung into action, detaining several individuals who were caught on camera pelting stones at the MLA’s convoy.
