According to ADG Krishnan, Bihar typically witnesses a rise in murders during April, May, and June, the months when agricultural activities are at a standstill due to the dry season. He suggested that during this time, especially in rural areas, unemployed youths from farming communities often turn to crime for money, including contract killings.
