In a major setback for actor Vijay’s party, the TVK, the Madurai bench of the Madras High Court has dismissed the anticipatory bail pleas of two of his key aides, Bussy Anand and Nirmal Kumar. The decision comes in the wake of a stampede tragedy. The court observed that the responsibility for ensuring the safety of the people who had gathered also lay with the TVK.
