An oil tanker, MV Skylight, carrying 15 Indian nationals among its crew of approximately 20 members was attacked off the coast of Oman amid fresh Israel-Iran strikes. The Indian embassy in Oman issued a statement confirming coordination with Omani authorities conducting search operations for missing crew members. The embassy stated it remains in constant touch with Omani officials and is coordinating the repatriation of rescued crew members while rendering all possible assistance. Reports indicate around four crew members, including some Indian nationals, were injured in the targeted attack. The vessel was positioned near Musadrinam port in Oman when the incident occurred. Omani maritime security authorities continue rescue operations, though the exact number of missing Indian crew members remains unconfirmed. The Indian mission in Muscat maintains contact with the Omanian Militant Security Authority throughout the ongoing search and rescue efforts.
