A major terror crackdown is underway in Jammu and Kashmir. Two terrorists have been apprehended in Shopian, resulting in a significant arms haul. Security forces seized AK-56 rifles, magazines, rounds, and grenades. The operation was jointly conducted by the army’s 44 Rashtriya Rifles, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and CRPF. The terrorists, described as ‘hybrid’, surrendered to the security forces, averting a potential encounter.
