A police station is being constructed opposite Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal, following violent clashes a month ago. The Satyavrat post, built on 700 yards of land, will be equipped with high-tech CCTV cameras. Security has been increased ahead of Ram Navami. The city is being developed as a safe city with plans for additional cameras and identification of religious sites. The outpost’s inauguration is planned to coincide with Ram Navami celebrations.
