A Bengaluru man, Subhash Atul, died by suicide allegedly due to harassment by his wife and in-laws. His lawyer stated that the court-ordered maintenance of Rs 40,000 for his son was legal, and Atul could have appealed. Bengaluru police are investigating the in-laws for abetment to suicide but have been unable to locate them.
