Bengaluru Stampede: 11 Dead & 47 Injured, BCCI Seeks Report From IPL Governing Council On Tragedy
A stampede occurred at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru during the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) victory celebrations on Wednesday after the team secured its maiden IPL title against Punjab Kings on Tuesday. According to reports, at least 11 people have died so far and over 30 are injured. Those injured are being treated in nearby hospitals. Among those dead, 6 are reportedly men, 4 are women and one is a minor. The stampede occurred after a massive crowd had gathered to celebrate RCB’s IPL 2025 victory at the Chinnaswamy stadium.
