The government has dismissed Jail Superintendent Magery and ASP Ashok Bhajantri, and transferred Chief Superintendent K. Suresh. A high-power committee has now been formed to conduct a comprehensive review of all state prisons, while a command centre will be set up to monitor live CCTV feeds from all jails across Karnataka in response to the security lapses.
