In a shocking incident reported from Bengaluru, a gang of around 10 youths armed with rods and machetes attacked a man named Basheer in Banashankari 3rd Stage. The brutal assault, which was captured on CCTV, shows the group arriving in a car and on bikes before vandalizing Bashir’s vehicle and inflicting severe injuries on him. The incident occurred on Sunday night between 8:30 and 9:00 PM. India Today’s Senior Editor Nagarjun Dwarakanath reports that six accused have been arrested in connection with the case. While initial reports suggested no personal rivalry, police later confirmed a rivalry had been ongoing for months. The victim, Basheer, sustained bleeding injuries to his face and body and is currently undergoing treatment. The horrifying visuals have raised serious concerns about law and order in the city.
