A significant drug bust has occurred in Bengaluru, where authorities seized seven kilograms of cocaine valued at 14.69 crore rupees. The narcotics were discovered concealed inside soap boxes, a method intended to smuggle the drugs as everyday items. Two women, who hail from the North East, have been arrested in connection with the seizure. Initial investigations by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), which acted on a tip-off, suggest this is part of a high-level interstate smuggling operation.
