Yesterday, RSS organisation secretary BL Santosh had said the BJP needs to win Bengal to save India-a claim the home minister reiterated today. Speaking at a rare press conference in Kolkata, Amit Shah said the 2026 election is critical not just for Bengal, but to save India’s culture. He also accused the TMC of actively changing West Bengal’s demography to secure their votebank, and predicted a two-thirds majority for the BJP in 2026.
