West Bengal Governor has opened yet another front against the Trinamool Congress-led state government by demanding the removal of Kolkata’s Commissioner of Police, sources told India Today TV. However, the Mamata Banerjee-led government is not ready to give in to the Governor’s demands, party sources said.
In a letter to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Governor Bose demanded the removal of Commissioner of Police Vineet Kumar Goyal, sources said. According to the Governor, the Kolkata Police built a office-like control room near the Raj Bhavan for which they did not take any permission from the Governor’s office.
