Recent incidents include arrests of ISKCON monks, mobbing of a Hindu journalist, and barring of 63 monks from entering India. Former Prime Minister Sheikha Sinha has criticised the government for attacks on Hindus, ISKCON monks, and temples. British MPs have called for UK government intervention in the matter.
