Balasore Student Immolation Case: UGC Forms 4-Members Fact Finding Committee To Investigate Tragedy
The University Grants Commission has formed a 4-member fact-finding panel to investigate the self-immolation incident of a 20-year-old BEd student at Fakir Mohan Autonomous College in Balasore, Odisha. The panel, headed by Prof. Raj Kumar Mittal from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, will Investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, including institutional policies, grievance redressal mechanisms, anti-harassment measures, and student support systems.
