Ayodhya is preparing for a pollution-free Deepotsav this year on October 19. Following an instruction from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Tourism Department will present a unique green fireworks show. For the first time, the celebrations will feature a 10-minute, eco-friendly fireworks display choreographed to music and laser lights. Alongside the show, more than 2.6 million diyas will be lit on the Ghats of the Sarayu River and Ram Ki Peri, aiming to blend faith and sustainable innovation. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh stated that "the eco-friendly fireworks will carry a message of sustainability while presenting Ayodhya’s cultural grandeur to the world."
