This special report focuses on the grand Deepotsav celebrations in Ayodhya, with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in attendance. According to our correspondent on the ground, ‘the world record will be broken this time. It will be two world records. Number one with 26 lakh Diyas at the Ram Ki Paidi. Number two with the Deepdaan of 2100 Maha Aarti that will be happening at the Saryu river’. The city is preparing to set a new Guinness World Record by lighting over 2.6 million earthen lamps (diyas) across 56 ghats on the banks of the Saryu river. The event, steeped in the tradition of the Ramayana to mark Lord Ram’s return from exile, involves thousands of volunteers preparing for the massive display which includes a grand Saryu Aarti, laser shows, and drone shows. Preparations are in full swing as Ayodhya gets ready for the divine spectacle.
